Peggy Myers, ’84, UNC-CH Director of Library Development will be visiting with Rhode Island Tar Heels on Friday, 26 June, in the evening at the Grill on Main Rest., 50 Main Street, in East Greenwich, RI. Please join us at 6:30 pm to welcome Peggy to the Ocean State for a “meet and greet” filled with food, stories, and news from Chapel Hill. An invitation has also been sent to RICC members on our Facebook page (Rhode Island Carolina Alumni Club). The event will be more along the lines of an informal happy hour with Q&A about the University and UNC Libraries. Although her work is focused on the Libraries at UNC, as a Carolina graduate who has had a long career at Chapel Hill (25+ years) – she will be happy and honored to talked about all things UNC. This is her first time to Rhode Island, so let’s show her some southern hospitality – Rhode Island style!
