Three of our Rhode Island Carolina Club members – Richard Ku (’68), Club President Emeritus Darryl Keith (’77) and Brandon Keith (’10) – raised $500 for SK CARES (Connecting All Resources for Educational Support), a non profit volunteer program offering needs-based support for the South Kingstown (RI) School District. SKCARES provides mentors to students within the school district through its volunteer and mentoring program that works with teachers and students in the South Kingstown school system. The three Carolina graduates, along with friend Peter Celone raised the money during an all-day golf tournament on Aug. 18th at the Laurel Land Country Club in West Kingston, RI.
