Some of you have been asking about basketball game watches. The wait is nearly over, as our first one will be Dec. 8 when Carolina has an early-season test against defending national champion Virginia, in Charlottesville. With a major change in schedule this year, The Tar Heels will have two ACC games under their belt before Christmas. They beat Notre Dame in the season opener on Nov. 6. Mark the calendar to join us @ Ladder 133 in Providence for the 4 p.m. tipoff. The Patriots are playing the Chiefs at 4:25 p.m. that day so we’ll have one TV in our usual area tuned into Carolina-Virginia, the other to the Pats game. Hope to see you then.
